Winter in Dilijan

Dilijan comes alive in summer. The trails fill up, the guesthouses book out, the cafés hum. Then November arrives, and the town goes quiet. For too long, Dilijan’s tourism has been seasonal, and December, when the city is at its most beautiful, has been one of its quietest months.

Winter in Dilijan is our answer to that. Every weekend in December, we transform the heart of the city into a Christmas market, bringing together local food, crafts, music, and the kind of warm, festive energy that Dilijan deserves in its most photogenic season.

What started as an idea to give the city a winter pulse has become one of the Green Rock Charitable Foundation’s flagship projects, and one we plan to grow every year. Explore moments from the three festival weekends below.
