Dilijan continues to attract growing attention as one of Armenia’s most promising cultural and tourism destinations. In a recent interview with Banks.am, Ekaterina Bredikhina, Director of the Green Rock Foundation, spoke about the Foundation’s work in Dilijan and the long-term vision for the city’s development.

According to Bredikhina, Dilijan has unique potential thanks to its natural environment, cultural heritage, and growing educational ecosystem. The Foundation works to support projects that strengthen the city’s cultural life, improve infrastructure, and help Dilijan develop as an attractive destination for both visitors and residents.

A key part of this work involves supporting initiatives that combine tourism, culture, and education, while also creating opportunities for local communities. The Foundation is particularly focused on projects that can help Dilijan develop throughout the year rather than only during peak tourist seasons.

“Dilijan has enormous potential,” Ekaterina noted in the interview, emphasizing that sustainable development requires cooperation between the public sector, private investors, and local communities.

Among the initiatives supported by the Foundation are projects that promote cultural heritage, develop tourism infrastructure, and encourage creative and educational activities in the region. These efforts aim to strengthen Dilijan’s position as a center for culture, hospitality, and learning.

The Foundation also supports initiatives that connect Dilijan with international networks and educational programs, helping the town attract new visitors, students, and entrepreneurs.

Through these projects, Green Rock Foundation aims to contribute to Dilijan’s long-term development while preserving the unique character that makes the city one of Armenia’s most distinctive destinations.
