The final event of the “Colors of Dilijan” creative competition brought together young artists, teachers, and families at the Dilijan Children’s Art School named after Hovhannes Sharambeyan, where the participants’ works were presented in a vibrant and inspiring setting.

The competition invited children to explore the beauty of Dilijan through art. Their drawings reflected the town’s landscapes, forests, and changing colors, each work offering a unique interpretation of the place they see every day. Some focused on the surrounding nature, others on the atmosphere of the town, but all shared a strong sense of imagination and personal expression.

During the closing event, the winners of the main nominations were announced and received awards in recognition of their creativity and effort. All other participants were also presented with certificates, highlighting the importance of encouraging young people to explore and develop their artistic talents.

The artworks created as part of the competition also found a second life beyond the exhibition. The Green Rock Foundation transformed several of the drawings into custom-designed bookmarks, which were later included in the books donated during the Foundation’s Book Giving Day initiative at TUMO Center Dilijan. In this way, the creativity of the young artists became part of another community project, connecting art, reading, and local participation.
