On July 15, the Khachaturian Trio performed in Dilijan with a concert dedicated to Aram Khachaturian and the composers of the Armenian Mighty Five.

The event took place at the Eduard Mirzoyan House of Composers, a venue closely connected to Armenia’s musical life and a natural setting for an evening celebrating the country’s classical heritage. A fascinating detail about the Composers’ House is that, when it opened in 1963, each cottage had its own grand piano and was positioned far enough from the others to allow composers to work without disturbing their neighbours. This history made the venue a particularly fitting setting for the Khachaturian Trio’s performance.

The concert brought together music lovers and created an opportunity to reconnect with works that remain an important part of Armenian culture. Events like this help preserve cultural ties by bringing familiar traditions into the present and sharing them with new audiences.

The Green Rock Foundation is pleased to support initiatives that promote classical music and contribute to the cultural life of Dilijan.
